Creating a new page layout using MOSS all Ready Prepared...

Page layout is a very powerful feature for setting up templates of your pages in a publishing site. You need to do following steps in order to create pages using page layout

1. Define Site Column (If you need to add columns for your page you will have to define columns)
2. Define Content Type (Need to define content type based on column)
3. Create Page Layout
4. Modify it in Share Point Designer
5. Publish Layout
6. Create a new page using published layout
